Unable to connect to the server

The console ran into an error while connecting to PlayStation Network.

Is PlayStation Network down right now? Operational: 20 problem reports in the last hour. If it were down for everyone, this error could come from there; right now it looks normal.
Fix it

How to fix error WS-116420-4

  1. Check the PSN status page for an outage or maintenance.

  2. Restart the PS5, use a wired connection if possible, and set up the network connection again.

  3. Switch the router and modem off for at least 5 minutes before restarting them.

  4. Try a manual static IP address or a public DNS server in the network settings.

  5. If none of this helps, the line may be busy, so wait and try again later.
