The console hit an error while connecting to PlayStation's online services.

Is PlayStation Network down right now? Operational: 20 problem reports in the last hour. If it were down for everyone, this error could come from there; right now it looks normal.

How to fix error NW-102216-2

Check the PlayStation status page for network problems.
Use a wired connection if you can, or move the console closer to the router.
Turn the router off for at least 5 minutes, then turn it back on.
Update the router's firmware, and open the ports PlayStation lists (TCP 80, 443, 3478-3480; UDP 3478, 3479, 49152-65535).
