Instagram app keeps crashing
Usually an old or unsupported app version
The app closes right after it opens or stops working. Instagram says this is often because the installed version is too old and no longer supported.
How to fix it
Update Instagram to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
Connect to Wi-Fi first if the update will not download.
Use instagram.com in a phone or computer browser in the meantime.
On Android, try Instagram Lite, which uses less data.
Report the problem from the app if something still does not work.
