All 8 codes
-
83: Something went wrong (device or connection)
- Means
- Disney+ hit a problem starting a video, usually because the device or method isn't supported (an emulator, or a phone's web browser instead of the app) or because the connection is slow or unstable.
- First step
- Use the Disney+ app on a supported device, or DisneyPlus.com on a supported computer. All steps
-
42: Trouble connecting to your internet
- Means
- Disney+ couldn't get a usable connection, most often because the internet connection is slow or unstable or the Wi-Fi signal is weak.
- First step
- Make sure you're using the app on a supported device, or a supported computer's browser. All steps
-
41: Trouble playing this right now
- Means
- The video couldn't start. Disney+ lists three reasons: a live event has ended, a sudden surge of viewers on that title, or the title has left Disney+.
- First step
- Close and reopen the app, or refresh the website. All steps
-
39: Content not authorized for your account
- Means
- Your account can't play this video, either because your plan doesn't include it or your profile's content rating settings block it. An unsupported device or setup can also cause it.
- First step
- Check that the title is included in your plan. All steps
-
73: Not available in your current location
- Means
- Disney+ thinks you are in a country or region where it isn't offered, or it detected a VPN or IP anonymizer.
- First step
- Use Disney+ from a country or region where the service is available. All steps
-
75: Too many devices streaming
- Means
- More devices are streaming at the same time than your Disney+ plan allows.
- First step
- Stop streaming or log out on the extra devices beyond your plan's limit. All steps
-
142: Trouble connecting you to the service
- Means
- A network problem stopped Disney+ from connecting, usually a slow or unstable internet connection or a weak Wi-Fi signal.
- First step
- Check your internet connection and Wi-Fi signal. All steps
-
- Means
- The password entered at login doesn't match the account. If it's the one you signed up with, Disney+ says it was most likely changed through another Disney service that uses the same email address.
- First step
- Reset your password with the Forgot Password option. All steps
