On Ubisoft Connect for PC, open Games, select Anno 1800, and install any update shown on its game page. On Steam, open Library, right-click the game, choose Properties, Updates, and set Automatic Updates to Always keep this game updated.

Why does Anno 1800 get stuck signing in to Ubisoft Connect?

The PC version uses Ubisoft Connect for account login and online services, even when you bought the game through another store. Why can’t I join or host an Anno 1800 multiplayer game?

If the store shows the purchase but the game menu does not, relaunch once before you try a full reinstall.

Why did my Anno 1800 save not appear after switching PCs?

Cloud saves on PC need Ubisoft Connect to finish syncing before you close the launcher or move to another machine. Open Ubisoft Connect on the old PC if you still have it, start the game once, then exit and let the sync complete. On the new PC, use the same Ubisoft account and check the local save folder only after the game has created its profile files.
