Telstra mobile data not working

Mobile Data off, Aeroplane Mode or outage

Telstra lists Aeroplane Mode left on, Mobile Data switched off, a used-up data allowance and network outages as common reasons calls and data stop working.

Fix it

How to fix it

  1. Check Telstra's outage page for your area.

  2. Make sure Aeroplane Mode is off.

  3. Go to Settings > Mobile and check that Mobile Data is on.

  4. Turn the phone off, wait one minute and turn it back on.

  5. Run Get help with an issue under Help in the My Telstra app.
