Xbox Network (Xbox Live) error 0x87DD0006

Can't sign in to Xbox network

Shows up during sign-in on an Xbox One or PC. Microsoft says it can point to an Xbox service outage that happened just before you tried.

Is Xbox Network (Xbox Live) down right now? Operational: 14 problem reports in the last hour. If it were down for everyone, this error could come from there; right now it looks normal.
Fix it

How to fix error 0x87DD0006

  1. Look at the Xbox status page and wait if any service shows an alert.

  2. Restart the console from the Power Center (hold the Xbox button, then Restart console), or restart the PC.

  3. If the code appeared during a console update or setup, follow Microsoft's system update troubleshooting instead.
