Valorant error VAN 9003

Secure Boot not enabled

Riot Vanguard requires Secure Boot and it is not turned on. The message reads that this build of Vanguard needs Secure Boot enabled to play.

Fix it

How to fix error VAN 9003

  1. Press Windows key + R, run msinfo32 and check BIOS Mode (should be UEFI) and Secure Boot State (should be On).

  2. If BIOS Mode is Legacy, convert your Windows drive from MBR to GPT first, or Windows will not boot after switching to UEFI.

  3. Turn on Secure Boot in your BIOS/UEFI following your PC or motherboard maker's instructions.

  4. Relaunch the game.
