Common problemMicrosoft OutlookClassic Outlook for Windows
Outlook keeps asking for password
Password changed or expired with your provider
Classic Outlook keeps showing a password prompt. Microsoft says this usually happens after you change your password with your email provider but not in Outlook, or when a work password expires.
How to fix it
Make sure Caps Lock is off, since passwords are case sensitive.
Check that your username is your full email address.
If you changed your password with your email provider, update it in Outlook too.
If your work password expired, change it and then enter the new one in Outlook.
