Microsoft 365: "Unlicensed Product"
Office can't confirm your license
The title bar of Word, Excel or another Office app shows Unlicensed Product and most features stop working. Microsoft says this happens when you sign in with an account not linked to your purchase, have more than one copy of Office installed, or your subscription has expired.
How to fix "Unlicensed Product"
Sign in with the account you bought Office with, and check Services & subscriptions to confirm Office is linked to it.
Uninstall extra copies of Office in Programs and Features, then restart your computer.
Check your subscription on the Services & subscriptions page and renew it if it has expired.
Run the Microsoft 365 activation troubleshooter on the same Windows PC.
Set your date, time and time zone to update automatically, then restart the Office app.
