Microsoft 365: "Account Notice: We've run into a problem"
Usually a payment or expired subscription
A yellow bar at the top of an Office app shows this notice. Microsoft says it is often caused by a payment problem, such as a declined or expired card, which leaves the subscription expired or suspended.
How to fix "Account Notice: We've run into a problem"
Close all Office apps and check on your Services & subscriptions page that your Microsoft 365 subscription is active.
Renew the subscription if it has expired, then restart the app.
Open your Payment options page and update any payment method that shows an error.
Run the Microsoft 365 activation troubleshooter on the same Windows PC.
If the notice stays, deactivate Office, uninstall it with the easy fix tool and reinstall it.
