Microsoft 365 apps won't install
Setup fails with an error code
Office setup stops partway and shows an error code, often starting with 30015 or 30088. Microsoft says leftover files from an earlier install, an unsupported system, or a proxy, firewall or connection problem can block it.
How to fix it
Run the Microsoft 365 setup troubleshooter on the same PC.
Restart your computer and try the install again.
Run the uninstall troubleshooter to remove old Office files, restart, then reinstall.
Check that your computer meets the system requirements for Office.
If it still fails, use the offline installer, which avoids most proxy, firewall and connection problems.
