Google verification code not arriving
2-Step Verification text or call fails
The 2-Step Verification code Google should text or call you with never shows up. Google says it may have sent a Google prompt to your phone instead, and that an unusual sign-in location, your phone plan or a weak connection can stop text codes.
How to fix it
Check your phone for a Google prompt, since Google may send one instead of a code.
Make sure your phone and service plan can receive text messages.
Move to a place with a strong connection before you ask for a new code.
If you asked for several codes, enter only the newest one.
If the code comes by voice call and you miss it, check your voicemail.
