Can't sign in to Google in your browser

Unsupported browser, extensions or JavaScript off

Google refuses to sign you in from your browser. Google says it may block browsers that have JavaScript turned off, use unsafe extensions, are run by automation software, or are built into another app.

Is Google down right now? Operational: 63 problem reports in the last hour. If it were down for everyone, this problem could come from there; right now it looks normal.
Fix it

How to fix it

  1. Use a supported browser such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera or Edge.

  2. Turn on JavaScript in your browser settings.

  3. Turn off unsafe or unsupported extensions while you sign in.

  4. Update your browser to the latest version.

  5. If your browser uses High or Strict privacy settings, add www.google.com to its allowed sites.

  6. Briefly turn off your firewall, proxy or antivirus to see if it is blocking the sign-in.
