Common problems
-
Can't sign in: Forgotten username or password
- Means
- Chase lets you reset your username and password yourself, on chase.com or in the Chase Mobile app.
- First step
- Select Forgot username/password? on chase.com or in the Chase Mobile app. All steps
-
Card declined: Credit limit, wrong details or fraud hold
- Means
- Chase lists a reached credit limit, an expired or closed card, typos in card details, merchant holds, late payments and fraud holds as common reasons. Chase does not need travel notices.
- First step
- Check your balance and credit limit, including holds from hotels, rental cars or gas pumps. All steps
-
Zelle payment not received: Recipient not enrolled or still processing
- Means
- Most Zelle payments between enrolled users arrive in minutes, but some take until the next business day, or 1 to 3 business days at other banks. A payment stays pending while the recipient has not enrolled with Zelle.
- First step
- Open your activity page and select the payment to see if it is still pending. All steps
-
Mobile deposit rejected: Check not endorsed or held for review
- Means
- Chase emails you when a QuickDeposit is received and again when it is accepted or rejected, and the rejection email gives the reason. Chase can also hold the money longer if a deposit needs more review.
- First step
- Read the rejection email from Chase to see why the deposit failed. All steps
