Error shown for Fortnite in the Epic Games Launcher. Epic's page doesn't explain the cause; it lists file checks to try before a reinstall.

Fix it

How to fix error IS-RE-IZ04

  1. Verify Fortnite's files (Library, three dots, Manage, Verify).

  2. Make sure the Fortnite drive has at least 10 GB free.

  3. Close Fortnite and the launcher, delete the FortniteGame folder in %localappdata% and restart the PC.

  4. Open the launcher as administrator and verify again.

  5. If it still fails, reinstall Fortnite.
