Fix it

How to fix it

  1. If you made the purchase, reply yes to the Was this you? text or email and try again.

  2. Re-enter the card number, expiration date, CVV and the billing address on your Capital One account.

  3. Unlock the card in the app, or activate your replacement card.

  4. Check your available credit, which counts pending charges and can take one to two days to update after a payment.

  5. Pay any past due amount as soon as you can.
