Card declined: Fraud check, wrong details or credit limit

- First step
- If you made the purchase, reply yes to the Was this you? text or email and try again. All steps
-
Account restricted: A hold that needs review by phone
- Means
- When a Capital One bank account or card is restricted, a banner shows online and in the app, and most transactions won't go through. There are several kinds of holds, and some need more than one team to review them.
- First step
- Call Capital One first: 1-866-536-9023 for fraud, 1-888-420-9943 for 360 accounts or 1-800-227-4825 for credit cards. All steps
-

- Means
- Capital One may ask you to deposit again if it can't read the check, the corners are cut off, the photo is too light or dark, or the back is not endorsed.
- First step
