Device won't connect to T-Fiber WiFi

Device or router needs a restart

When one device can't get online but others can, T-Mobile Fiber suggests checking whether the router can see that device, then restarting the device and the router.

Is T-Fiber down right now? Operational: 9 problem reports in the last hour. If it were down for everyone, this problem could come from there; right now it looks normal.
Fix it

How to fix it

  1. Turn WiFi off and back on on the device, then restart the device if that does not help.

  2. In the T-Mobile Fiber app, check that the device shows under Things and is active.

  3. If it is missing, unplug the router for 30 seconds and plug it back in.

  4. Reconnect the device and check its status in the app again.
