Common problemBlizzard Battle.netWindows PC and Mac
Battle.net stuck on waiting for another update
Update blocked by another install
A game won't update because the app is waiting on another installation or update. Blizzard says patch servers being down are the usual cause, though local network trouble can also do it.
How to fix it
Check BlizzardCS for maintenance in your region.
See whether another game or the Battle.net app is updating and let it finish.
Restart your computer.
Delete the Battle.net Tools folder so the app rebuilds it.
Add Blizzard apps to your security software's exception list.
Turn off World of Warcraft addon managers while the update runs.
